Firefighting & EMS and the rising Homelessness in the United States

In the United States, there are over half a million people experiencing homelessness. As government continues to shut down small businesses and add increase restrictions during these COVID-19 times, homelessness will continue to spike. Homelessness was becoming a crisis prior to COVID.  Firefighting and EMS as an industry is an ever adapting force that serves, how are we adapting and what resources can we use to make the necessary adaptions a smoother more effective process?

Fire Students wishes to pay tribute to the hard working Firefighters and Medics at the busiest fire station in the country – Skid Row’s LAFD Station 9

Fire Students is conducting a Global study to help modify procedures/protocols… Station 9 serves as a major inspiration.
