Fire Students has been studying the the Fire Industry, Anti-Terrorism, and Emergency Response for over twenty years in various countries.

As with all international efforts, Fire Students set idle during 2021. We look forward to making up for lost time!

The goal: Learn as much as we can, share all that we learn, and have fun doing it.

James Samples is the international scout for Fire Students. His job is to scour the planet for outstanding techniques and equipment and then report those findings to Fire Students. Fire Students members provide assessments and feedback on various findings. Fire Students then packages the information and redistributes those findings globally, throughout the firefighting industry.

What We Do

We review data sources from around the world to understand the threats against our communities better. We also research techniques that are developed from around the world and spread information regarding the current most effective counter measures that the world has to offer.

Why Global?

Various unique circumstances around the world for prolonged durations result in experiences and expertise that is hard to come by for most departments and municipalities. I.e. Hawaii’s volcanoes and California’s gigafire (spanning over 1m acres) are setting records in modern history, resulting in more experience in woodland firefighting. Did you know that the German autobahn system is rated as one of the safest in the world, due to technological advances?
